What happens to the details you send us, and what you can ask us to do with them.

Who is responsible

The company named under Legal notice is responsible for the personal data described here. Write to the email address given there for anything on this page.

What we collect, and why

We only collect what you type into the quote form or the service form. There is no account, and nothing is collected if you just read the site.

  • Your name, email address, telephone number and the town the work is in — so that we can reply and find the place.
  • What you need: the product, the measurements, quantity, material, finish, how it should be operated, and anything you write in the notes.
  • When you need it and whether it is a new build, a replacement or a repair.
  • Your IP address, which the server records with the enquiry and uses to limit how often the form can be sent from one connection.

On what basis

We use your contact and project details to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote — that is the step before a possible contract, at your own request. The IP address is kept on the narrower ground of our legitimate interest in keeping the form from being abused.

Who else sees it

Your enquiry reaches us as an email and is stored on the server that hosts this website. Two companies are involved as service providers and process the data only on our instructions:

  • Zoho — the mail service that carries the enquiry and our reply.
  • Hostinger — the hosting company whose server runs this website and holds the stored enquiries.

We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to anyone for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry for as long as we need it to deal with your request and any work that follows from it, and afterwards for as long as we are required to keep business records. When neither applies any more, it is deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict what we do with it, or to receive it in a portable form. You can object to our use of your IP address. Write to the email address under Legal notice and we will answer.

If you are not satisfied

You can complain to the supervisory authority: the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection, Nicosia, Cyprus.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracking of any kind, which is why you are not asked to accept anything when you arrive.
